The Trillium Flow Technologies™ legacy brand Atwood & Morrill® began in 1900 in Salem, Massachusetts in the United States making valves for mills in the United States and later produced valves for ships during World War II. Atwood & Morrill® has also manufactured large valves for power plants, including the first prototype nuclear reactor, and the United States Navy’s first nuclear submarine.
Today, as one of Trillium Flow Technologies™ innovative legacy brands, Atwood & Morrill® is proud to be a pioneer in valve design engineering in power generation, oil and gas, and petrochemicals.

Our Atwood & Morrill® FREE FLOW® Reverse Current Valve was introduced in 1929 for extraction turbine applications. Its modern equivalent has become an industry benchmark for turbine protection around the world. Adding to this, we offer controlled closure check valves, compressor check valves, three-way valves, wye globe valves, nuclear MSIV and MFIV valves, and parallel slide gate valves.
