The Batley Valve® brand started in 1964 when two engineers, Michael Stead and Gordon Heap, founded the Batley Valve Co. Ltd. in the United Kingdom. Both were former apprentices with J. Blakeborough & Sons, another of Trillium Flow Technologies™ legacy brands.
